Cutting is something I've always enjoyed. I love creating cuts built on strong structure, so they grow out beautifully and are easy to style at home. I love short hair, which is trending right now, and I can't say no to a classic long layered haircut either. I also specialise in curly hair, and I approach it differently to straight hair, an approach I've refined over years of trying different techniques.

I believe in understanding how you're feeling at the time of your appointment, and making sure that if you're considering a big change, the decision is thought through and not based on emotions in that moment. I take the time to listen, look at your hair, its texture, your face shape and lifestyle, and explain my thinking so you feel confident in every decision. I want every client to leave feeling understood, looked after and genuinely confident in their hair.

It begins with a consultation, which can take 15 to 30 minutes. We'll talk about your likes and dislikes, your lifestyle and how much time you want to spend styling your hair. I'll always be honest about what will and won't suit you and guide you to a shape that's confidently yours.

Outside the salon, life's pretty simple for me. I love spending time with family and good friends, and you can't beat a backyard BBQ with a few mates. Throw in a holiday every now and then and I'm a happy man.
